Not for skilled players... Games are too easy to win even on advanced player level. Toward end of games "doubles" occur far to often. Dice rolls quite often questionable in terms of probability - in favor of computer player. End of game can get hung and only way out is to abort screen. Fun to play when needing easy win.

Not for experienced players. The computer makes moves no player would make. Almost impossible to lose.

Play this game as a time waster but helps me relax

This is an authentic backgammon game. It has all the features of the real game. Loads of fun to play when you dont have a partner. Beeboppbls

Good game but easy to beat even when set on hard.

But not challenging. Better than other computer versions but would like to see one closer to live play.

Since most people are right-handed, please change the button to be on the right of the screen. Also, playing with the computer there is a long pause before it rolls the dice, would you accelerate that please? Thanks.

Why no doubling cube?

I love backgammon and haven’t played much in years, so I bought this app. It works fine and is easy to open up and begin play, BUT…I go to the “Hard” setting thinking it will be challenging, but the computer still plays “Stupid” and it’s not challenging. I think I’m about 15-0 and bored to tears. Not very fun. Need to find another app that will be more challenging.

Backgammon is above all a game of strategy and tactics, which makes any backgammon game only as good as the tactics programmed into the app. I would classify myself as a moderately good player and having bought the game a few hours ago find myself having won 90% of the games, even on hard setting. And Ive seen the computer miss even no-brainer moves. I shall delete and try another. On the plus side it functions well, with no delays, crashes or other such issues.

This backgammon program is utterly without craft. It plays a catchy if somewhat plaintive ditty, but it moves with no apparent sense of how to win. The dice do not seem truly random. There is no difference between the "levels of play". I only use it masochistically.

Just like the real thing!

1. Game shuts down when I am winning and close to finishing 2. Chips do not always move leaving you exposed and bumped. When this happens there is a yellow circle in the space where this happens but opponent can still bump. 3. Game cheats I have had to end 5 or more games recently because of the glitches.
